Abstract

Currently the power consumption is an issuethat being discussed by too many areas of knowledge. Thecontrol of electric energy consumption is an importantfactor achieves an economy of energy and is directlyrelated to the value of the monthly bill. So, reducing theelectric energy consumption, saves money which can beused as investment in others strategy areas in an industry,for example. The purpose of this work is show a circuitthat can measure the power consumption and controllingthis parameter.Index terms ⎯ electric energy measurement, RC filter,resistive attenuator, power consumption.
