REDE DE FEIRAS DE MATEMÁTICA: 25 ANOS DE RELEVÂNCIA PARA A EDUCAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA E TECNOLÓGICA.

Abstract

The Scientific Education and, particularly theMathematical Education in Santa Catarina, above all,passes by the accomplishment of 232 of Mathematics Fairs,in that were presented about 25.000 works, and 78% of theseworks were related to the applications of the mathematics insciences and technology, and 17% were related to theproduction and to tests of didactic materials. These Fairshave as objective the construction and the popularization ofthe scientific and technological knowledge. This presentationhas as purpose to publish the scientific-social-technologicalrelevance of the Net of Mathematics Fairs close to theeducation system. For the managers of these Fairs ofMathematics, in Municipal, Regional and State extents, theorganization of these events is important because theypromote the reflection in the ethical behaviors and ofcitizenship, in the measure that the logic of the cooperationprevails on the logic of the competition.Key-words - Mathematics, Fairs, Technologies.
