APLICAÇÃO DE MÉTODO DE EVENTO KAIZEN PARA ANÁLISE DO PROCESSO DE ELABORAÇÃO DE UMA DISSERTAÇÃO DE MESTRADO

Abstract

This paper describes the lean tool Kaizen Eventand an application on a master degree thesis elaborationprocess. Sustained by the parallel established by someauthors between the application of lean concepts in the shopfloor and the product development process, this paperpresents a specific method to promote Kaizen Event in anacademic research environment. The Kaizen Event methodwas applied in a real case in the educational environmenttaking as a premise that the scientific process that supportsa master degree thesis and the product development processhas common points that permits this extrapolation.Index Terms ⎯ Kaizen, Lean, master degree thesis.
