USO DA AVALIAÇÃO NA EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA

Abstract


Changes in educational paradigms areincreasingly evident and such changes are inevitable.Educators and students currently make up the traditionalmodel of teaching two different cultures. The call for the useof technology in education can bring these two realities asdifferent, however the use of technology should be somethingreasonable especially when we talk about distanceeducation. We are experiencing a time of intensetransformation and this is the point where we have to act inpursuit of quality. Many misconceptions are generated atthis stage by of ignorance, fear and even lack ofcommitment. The evaluation processes have been abstractedfor virtual environments in any way, without even anunderstanding of what is "evaluating", so that failure isinevitable. In this article we address the question ofevaluation and how to use technology to evaluate theprocess of teaching and learning.Index Terms - Evaluation, Virtual Environments, DistanceEducation.
