ESTUDO DE CASO: O PLANEJAMENTO NA REDUÇÃO DAS PERDAS NO SISTEMA DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO DE ÁGUA NA CIDADE DE UMUARAMA - PR

Abstract

Loss or leakage of water occurs in variouscomponents of a supply system. As the location of thesespecific places, various activities are appropriate for yourcontrol and reduction. The reduction of physical lossesimplies lower costs with materials and supplies used in theproduction of water and better use of the facilities toincrease the supply without system expansion waterproducer. This work aims to present and analyze themethodology applied in reduce losses, evaluation of leaks,nocturnal, control of level indicators, equipment used toreduce the consumption of water available in the city ofUmuarama – PR. Planning reducing losses on a waterdispenser system provides gain income and decrease waste,aiming to provide water for the population, in quantity andquality compatible for minimum requirements for humanconsumption.Index Term ⎯ Supply network, losses, reservoir, nocturnallevel, water consumption.
