ANÁLISE DA EFICIÊNCIA DO PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO DE ESGOTO E DA REMOÇÃO DE AGENTES TENSOATIVOS NA ETE PINHALZINHO – MUNICÍPIO DE UMUARAMA - PR

Abstract

Scarcity of natural resources, increasinglygovernment agencies, NGO's or entities involved with thearea began to worry about subjects that concern theconservation and water quality. With this vision, is need ofproposition of methods and techniques for the treatment ofwastewater guaranteeing better quality of life for thepopulation and for the future generations. In Brazil,considering its warm climate and wide sunstroke, biologicaltreatment processes via UASB reactors have been widelyused in Sewage treatment plant (STP). This work will bepresented and analyzed data treatment efficiency of STPPinhalzinho which treats 115 L. s -1 in the city of Umuarama,Northwestern Paraná State, with a population isapproximately 100,000. Parameters measuring efficiencywell knowledge were analyzed, with emphasis on surfactantagent.Index Term ⎯ UASB, Surfactants, STP, removal efficiency,Sludge treatment.
