Abstract


A different proposal from the perspective ofcritical analysis of the mode of teaching and learningoutside the classroom of the documents that establishedFOUNDATIONS FOR A NEW PROPOSAL FOREVALUATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION - NationalAssessment System of Higher Education of the Ministry ofEducation of Brazil, before the news needs and opportunitiesintroduced by the Distance Learning Mode. The mainobjective of this work is to carry out the analysis, the contentdimension, the documents focusing on the qualitative aspectsof feasibility and cost in distance education. Will also bepresented in this paper some ideas to contribute to thedocuments cited and could strengthen the proposalscontained therein, according to our point and aiming at thesuccess of distance education courses especially whenapplied to engineering.Keywords ⎯ Distance Learning Mode, EngineeringEducation, Evaluation of higher education.
