Abstract


This work presents a design of Sliding ModeStructure Variable Control to reduce the effects ofdisturbances, like noise measurements. The approach givenis related to the robustness of the method with respect tomatch uncertainties. An application in AutomaticGeneration Control plant is made. The results of thesimulations prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.Index Terms – LQR, sliding mode control, automaticgeneration control, measurements noise.
