REDES DE KOHONEN COMO MECANISMO DE ADAPTATIVIDADE DE OBJETOS DE APRENDIZAGEM: UMA APLICAÇÃO DE AUXÍLIO A AMBIENTES DE APRENDIZAGEM VIRTUAL
Abstract
Students that use Learning ContentManagement Systems may have some problems concerningthe lack of incentive to an education that leads them toreflect about their own reality. Due to most part of LCMS, ingeneral, do not permit dynamic content adaption,educational process aid by computers using LCMS, are insome cases characterized by an uncontextualized learningthat diminish student’s potential for reflection. Thus, it isnecessary to have some mechanisms that could help theadaptation to student’s cultural context, leading to ameaningful learning. In the actual scenario, leaning objectsdelivered by LCMS do not necessarily reflect the realexpectation of students concerning their necessities aboutthe content. In this way, this work focuses a support adaptivearchitecture, applied to Learning Content ManagementSystem. Self Organizing Maps are used to create an adaptiveconnectable framework that helps LCMS in the deliveringcontent task.Index Terms ⎯ Meaningful Learning, Self OrganizingMaps, Konets, Learning Content Management Systems.
