Abstract

In this paper we will cover the use of thenetwork management protocol SNMP - Simple NetworkManagement Protocol - as a new paradigm applied towireless sensor networks, in order to facilitate the reading ofvarious magnitudes in bench, including the energyconsumption. The main objective is to describe a possiblearchitecture for managing hierarchical sensor network,using intermediate element, or proxy manager, in which isactually embedded the SNMP agent.Index Terms ⎯ SNMP, WSN , Proxy Manager.
