Abstract

In the modern labor market, the constant searchfor customization of workforce associated with thecontinuing need for innovation has increased the level ofcare to maximize results through the People Management.Many professionals in the Information Technology areameet their careers with technical courses and certifications,but forget that the People Management is a key factor toachieve good results. This project aims to demonstrate theimportance of the matter People Management inundergraduate in Information Technology Security courses.Through the survey, realized with the students of a SãoPaulo University could be identified that PeopleManagement, can do much to address this. The result showsthat the discipline should have a focus beyond the theory,bringing case studies, aimed at better understanding andbetter use.Index Terms ⎯ information technology, people management,university.
