THE EVALUATION OF STUDY BY GRADUATES FROM VŠB-TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OSTRAVA IN THE JOB MARKET

Abstract

The presentation shows the evaluation of someaspects of high school studies by graduates in job market.The graduates expressed their satisfaction with the level oftheoretical knowledge versus special knowledge of thebranch, practical skills, language skills and the knowledgeof theory of management and organization. The resultsdocument a shift in the satisfaction with their study of graduateswho graduated in 1992-2002, i.e. in the time aftersocial economic transformation in the Czech Republic andafter the restructuring of the technical university.
