VIRTUAL CLASSES USING LEARNING OBJECTS IN ENGINEERING COURSE
Abstract
The present work is a computationaltool created by a teacher, developed andimplemented by PUC Virtual team. It is alearning object tool that is being used inLinear Systems Analysis virtual classes in aMecatronic and Electronic Engineeringcourses, allowing better interaction betweenprofessor and students. In the educationalarea the related work presents functionalcharacteristics of accessibility, reusability andinteroperability, which benefit to the professorand students, allowing it to create newpedagogical applications from the developedcomponents already in this work. Therefore, itis a typical learning object, created tostimulate students to be creative and find anew dynamic and interactive way to learn.Students have a stimulation in a virtual form,allowing a direct relationship betweenpractical and theory constructing theirsscientific and technological education.Word-key - Education, Engineering, Learning Object,Physical Systems Modeling.
