Abstract

The involvement and motivation of students isessential to the success of any subject. In engineeringschools it is necessary to implement a paradigm wereorganizational, quality control and productivity are thefundamental characteristics of a future engineer. Employersrequire that future engineers are able to improveproductivity and know how to work in teams. Students mustbe prepared to have a proactive attitude and be encouragedto adopt a professional way of working. Team work andcommunication skills are some of the major issues inengineer work that reflect in education. Work becomes moreflexible and adaptable with PBL. PBL creates and developswork relationships. Students learn how to exchangeexperiences and gain pleasure with the work because theyestablish their own rules. This methodology was practical toprovide students with a much more realistic experience ofworking with a real life project, emphasizing a better criticalanalysis evaluation.Index Terms ⎯ Cooperative work, project-based learning, team work.
