THE VALUE OF HANDS-ON ACTIVITY IN TEACHING SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY: FROM TRADITIONAL LABS TO THE REMOTE AND VIRTUAL LABORATORIES
Abstract
From the Experiential Learning Theory to theconstructivist theory of Jean Piaget the lab activity appearsas fundamental teaching/learning methodology.Additionally, new technologies brought new and innovativetools for these activities and with them the remote andvirtual labs.
