PROJETO AUTÔMATOS: MOTIVANDO MENINAS COM ARTE E TECNOLOGIA
Abstract
The development and construction of automata models introduce concepts of art, design, mechanics, electronics and computing, combining both play and technology. Automata project aims at motivating a group of low income, female students from a public high school, using a pilot strategy of active and meaningful learning to explore the concepts mentioned above in an interdisciplinary way. The role of art within the automata design was both conceptual and practical.
