PROCESSO DE ENSINO – APRENDIZAGEM COM GAMES: UM ESTUDO DE CASO NO CURSO DE DESIGN
Abstract
The interdisciplinary nature of games allows its use for teaching other great knowledge, not only itself. From this, we can say that there is a metalanguage, when teaching game design from games or from playfulness, resulting in a product that can also come to teach the same subject or other skills. We selected, as the object of study, five video games produced by students of the Design undergraduate major in UNESP Bauru campus, in the discipline of Game Design - Introduction to Developing Digital Games. They are available on the blog of the course. In this course, designers and programmers work together to develop these languages. It is studied in this work to be presented the end of a cycle of learning that resulted in another, to the students themselves and for other people who experience video games.
