Historia, arte y tradición: producciones textiles en américa del sur. El caso de Argentina, Bolivia y Brasil
Abstract
This study aimed to make visible the framework of cultural environment, textile art of the indigenous peoples of Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. Productions were selected Huarpes, Tupi-Guarani and Jalq'a. They work with everyday clothing and traditional, to investigate the poetics of his images, the construction of symbols, techniques andmaterials, its changes and adaptations over time. This has implications for interpreting social constructs represented in his works. This article argues that the modes of textile production are the result of knowledge and processes related worldview symbolic and social activity of human beings. This was a descriptive-comparative study ofliterature and documentary sources. For this study we used concepts of art history, semiotics and cultural studies.
