Prática do canto coral: desafios na formação musical e humanística em cursos técnicos
Abstract
This report describes the experience of the "Coral IFMT" Campus Cuiabá, from 2009. Overall, theproject has a humanistic sense, to sensitize students to the headquarters nonverbal, within a perspective of music as an expression of thought and musical gesture. Students are invited, since the year 2011, to participate in musical activities such as classroom theory, perception andinstruments. The profile explores musical sounds from Brazilian popular music to the attention of new sounds, such as music from other cultures and Concert. Many students saw coral practice an activity "outdated" against other practices offered by the institution, articulated the vivencias personal. What strategies used for the provision of Choral opposite problem? Was observed during the course, asignificant and growing number of members who seek to form in the area of music.
