Música e arte além das fronteiras: o encontro com os Chiquitanos e a música como objeto integrador

Abstract

This communication is to report the experience of "Meet the Chiquitanos" integration project between musical groups Brazil - Bolivia. Created by a group of professors from two universities Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, aims to encourage the teaching and learning in music andintegration between countries. With 08 years following the project highlighting the talents and expanding perceptions and musical practices, aimed at integrating musical and artistic training of its participants. In 2010, the Group's IFMT Flutes, Cuiabá - BR, appeared in five cities of the province of Velasco, Bolivia. In 2011, it was the turn of the String Orchestra to perform in San Miguel City of Cuiabá; And in 2012 the pilot project comes in strings, flutes parallel to that group, to synthesize the knowledge acquired during the experiment ensemble, now prepares for the set up of ropes on the Brazilian side of the border.
