Abstract

The contact of youth with artistic forms available by social practices, media and interactive media is stepping up, showing the growing quest to follow their career paths in this field. As ongoing research, based on a group practitioner Music Federal Institute of Mato Grosso - Campus Cuiaba, about 20% of participants and formerparticipants completed a college in the area of music or are involved in professional activities related areas Arts (Theatre, Singing, Dance, visual Arts, among others). Considering that these young people were introduced to the music in high school, some argue that had basement and encouragement by the institution, serving as a stimulus and bringing them to the field of Arts andScience. Early results demonstrate the importance of promoting the artistic practices where young people can experience it in a global way, not only as a curriculum subject.
