PLATAFORMA DE GESTÃO DO CONHECIMENTO NA APLICAÇÃO DE EAD NO ENSINO PRESENCIAL EM UMA IES: UM ESTUDO DE CASO
Abstract
Based on Ordinance 4.059/2004 issued by theBrazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), which allowed forthe use of 20% curricular content in the DL modality, aBrazilian University applied the new model to all itsundergraduate subjects. This article uses quantitative andqualitative research conducted in this new environment; as aresult, a combination of factors including the selection of aknowledge management platform, the intensive use ofinformation technology (IT), the training strategy forpersonal and virtual tutors, building a new platform andsuccessful implementation of the DL modality inundergraduate programs. The new format has fostered atransformation in the pattern of student proactivity duringclasses, positive changes in the IT culture, improvements inrelationships with professors, a more successful learningperformance of students and improvements in theeducational level of the institution.Index Terms - Distance Learning, E-Learning,Information Technology, Knowledge Management
