Abstract

The disorderly growth of urban centers hascreated major environmental impacts, among them stand outfrom the improper disposal of solid waste, which due to lackof public policies and appropriate technologies for treatmentand / or final destination of the waste, causing problems ofdifferent magnitudes. The municipal dump of Redemptionhas a relatively extensive area, and receives various kinds ofwaste, and the public entity has no control of the wastedeposited on site. This practice encourages the proliferationof micro and macro vectors of disease, and one of theimpacts of these mitigation measures would be to implementmanagement actions involving the screening of wastematerial that the proper disposition of it, bringing socioeconomicbenefits to the local community through itssubsequent recovery economy.Keywords -  Management Environmental, PhysicalCharacteristics, Urban Residues.
