ADEQUAÇÃO DA ARQUITETURA PREDIAL DA ASSOCIAÇÃO DOS IDOSOS DO COROADO (ASSIC) PARA USO COM SEGURANÇA POR PESSOAS COM MOBILIDADE REDUZIDA (PMR’S) E NECESSIDADES ESPECIAIS (PNE’S)

Abstract

This work, result of integrated actions ofteaching, research and extension, presents studies for theadequacy of head office’s architecture of ASSIC, Manaus(AM). This head office has an ample space, however, thelayout and the characteristics of ambiences hinder its use byPRM's and PSN's. In this context, were held workshops andinterviews with users and board; engineering studies; and,research the theoretical reference (standards andlegislation). The demands and inadequacies identifiedsubsidized the proposals and projects of architecture andengineering that included since the modification of coatingsand openings until the projection of ambiences and liftingsystem, composed of stair and platform lift. Therefore, it isnot only of a reform project predial, but of a model ofenvironmental management participatory that willcontribute to social inclusion of PRMs and PSNs in activitieswith comfort, safety and liberty, and for the improvement oftheir health.Index Terms  ⎯  ASSIC, environmental management, PSN’s,PRM's.
