ANÁLISIS DE MEMBRANAS DE OSMOSIS INVERSA PARA AGUAS CON ALTO CONTENIDO DE ARSÉNICO
Abstract
The reverse osmosis, as a treatment for water, is a new, growing technology. The membranes of the reverse osmosis are used in various applications, including: purification of precious metals, recovery of nuclear waste, food processing, purification of laboratory water, purification of water in general, etc. There is a thin, porous layer on the surface of the membrane which contains a multitude of micro pores. It is due to physicalchemical interaction between the solution and the membrane that the majority of the salts are rejected and only the water of low ionic concentration goes through the membrane. Most of the organic components are removed according to their molecular mass.
