MUDANÇAS CLIMÃTICAS E AGRICULTURA: UMA PROPOSTA DE DIVULGAÇÃO CIENTÃFICA

Abstract

Climate changes and its impact in agriculture launch a great challenge to science journalists, which objective is not only spread data, but insert it in the context in which climate change is and the impacts it has in society and in its mode of production. Is being developed, trough the scholarship Mídia Ciência of FAPESP, a project of scientific divulgation of activities of the research group AlcScens, a thematic project supported by FAPESP and led by researches from Unicamp. AlcScens is dedicated to the generation of scenarios for the production of sugar cane, one of the main crops in Brazil, for the formulation of public policies that promote its adaptation to the climate changes. The goal is to spread the research developed by members of AlcScens through various media, making the main findings and proposals of these scientists reach society.
