Abstract


This article aims to establish a dialogue between the 60's culture from the last century, the environment and the animation directed by Chuck Jones (1929-2002), called “ The bear that wasn’t” (Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch? v = vcPfgi5tCSo). In this animation we can see the irony about the environmental discontent and how it begins to emerge in cities, not only in USA, as various parts of the world, and its reflection at the counterculture. In the cartoon, the relationship of man and his unregulated environment interference is evidenced, especially because of the search of economic development industrial at the postwar era
