ASPECTOS DE SEGURANÇA OCUPACIONAL NA GESTÃO DA MANUTENÇÃO INDUSTRIAL

Abstract

The increase in the number of occurrences of accidents and occupational diseases recorded annually in the industries, has triggered concern among organizations. The concern for the preservation of occupational safety and health organizations have been receiving greater attention, triggered by high costs and reparatory indemnity in respect of direct and indirect victims of accidents. In the industrial environment highlights the interaction between occupational safety and industrial maintenance, which are considered as areas of service for any production process. The aim of this study was then, to assess the indicators of occupational health and safety related to maintenance operations. It was concluded that the safety aspects influence and are influenced by maintenance activities, requiring effective management through the identification of conditions and factors that compromise the performance of the organization in order to establish and implement actions to control the variances.
