Abstract

In this paper, we present a methodology that uses an interactive learning environment for teaching Physics, integrating resources of the web technology and digital media with a consistent didactic-pedagogic project. The research and development of new teaching methodologies to facilitate the teaching-learning process have become an important factor in education, both formal and non-formal, as a pedagogical strategy, especially the increasingly easier access to Internet and digital media. This methodology, with the characteristics of distance learning courses has been deployed in the School of Engineering, Mackenzie Presbyterian University, discipline General Physics I for students who already attended in person and have been deprecated in order to motivate them to continue their studies, reducing the dropout so characteristic in the first semesters of engineering courses.
