COMO SE CONSTRUIR E HABITAR DE MODO SUSTENTÃVEL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Abstract

In this paper a exploratory-descriptive case
study is presented having as study unit a green building in
the district of Barra Funda, São Paulo, which was planned
and constructed applying the principles of sustainability.
The major impacts caused by the civil construction sector
and the possibilities for minimizing them, such as the use of
solar energy as clean energy source, water reuse, reduction
and proper disposal of waste in buildings, are discussed.
