PROPOSTA DE UM PORTAL DE VIGILÂNCIA TECNOLÓGICA PARA RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS

Abstract

This paper introduces a website oftechnological surveillance that aims to collect, allowanalysis of relevance and make available data andinformation about types of waste (way to collect, finaldestination and suitable treatments for each type of waste)with the purpose to inform and orientate the people andcompanies about the good practices with the generatedwaste by them. Other relevant aspect in the conception anddevelopment of the website was the fact that it can be usedas source for data for researchers and managers ofenvironment areas (with news updated daily, technicalarticles, regulations and presentations). The Web&Wastesite was developed using the open source technology, in thiscase, Linux, MySQl and PHP.Index Terms ⎯ Solid Waste, Website, TechnologicalSurveillance.
