UMA ANÁLISE DA APLICAÇÃO DO DATA WEBHOUSE NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DO PERFIL DO CONSUMIDOR NA INTERNET

Abstract


The Companies that sell products on theInternet want to know the behavior of consumers who accessyour website. This can be done by identifying the sequenceof clicks (clickstream) of consumers to navigate thecompany's website. Through the use of these data is possibleto trace the profile of each customer and customize thewebsite according to the individual needs of each. To extractreal-time information such as consumer: What are the mostaccessed pages? How many products are about to bepurchased? Which of promotions available are betteraccepted by clients? Among others that will help thecompany make informed decisions, joined the concept of theclickstream with Data Warehouse in Internet creating theData Webhouse. The objective of this work is to highlight theadvantages of Data Webhouse, analyze their drawbacks andpropose possible solutions.Index Terms ⎯ Data Warehouse, Data Webhouse,Clickstream, Business Intelligence, Data Mart.
