A OCUPAÇÃO DA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO BAQUIRIVU-GUAÇU E A AUSÊNCIA DE ESTRUTURAS DE MACRODRENAGEM A AUSÊNCIA DE ESTRUTURAS DE MACRODRENAGEM

Abstract

The occupation of the basin of the river Baquirivu-Guaçu had accelerated the process when the deployment and operation of the International Airport of Sao Paulo / Guarulhos. The main adverse impact that the occupation was imposed on the regime change of flow of the river Baquirivu-Guaçu, during periods of flooding, bringing then flood at urban areas. This work aims to identify general said the changes imposed on the river because of the occupation of his bed more, and propose the establishment of structures for macrodrainage. The planning of the research for the development of this work is based on descriptive study. The concern and awareness of different parts of society, with the need of removing the excess of rain water more efficiently through the implementation of the structures of macrodrainage should present as a result beneficial to minimize the inconvenience, damage and the flood risks in their basin.
