TRATAMENTO ESTATÍSTICO NO RISCO DE MORTE POR INFECÇÃO HOSPITALAR – UMA TEORIA DA ANÁLISE DE SOBREVIVÊNCIA

Prof. Victor Freitas de Azerêdo Barros, José Elmo De Menezes

Abstract

The Hospital Infection is considered a seriousproblem, growing both in incidence as in complexity, generating many kinds of social and economic implications. The control of this must be based the all healthprofessionals. The solution is strengthening the Commissionfor Hospital Infection Control (CHIC). Based on thisproblem is proposed mathematical modeling of the risk of aperson collapse a Hospital Infection and the risk of death ofa person with Hospital Infection. For this, we will do a datasurvey in IBGE, AVISA, and others, and we will do with thisdata a statistic treatment. As theoretical tool, we will use theTheory of Survival Analysis, and too the statistical modelsdiscussed in this theory. As a computational tool, we will usethe R program, a free software that provides excellent meansfor statistics analysis and with high quality of graphicalfeatures.Index Terms ⎯ Hospital Infection, Risk Factors, StatisticalModels, Survival Analysis.
