Abstract

In recent years the problem-based learning (PBL) has been one of the teaching-learning methods used in institutions of higher education. But its application does not cover the whole context of the subjects of a study program in general. More and has been used successfully in medical schools, although it has spread to many other faculties, such as in engineering and social sciences. This article presents the experiences from the implementation of PBL in terms of supply chains, particularly in the area of linear programming in the race for Superior Technical University of production processes at the Technological University of Southern Sonora, Mexico. In the technique of PBL, both the teacher and students, have specific roles to play. Experience shows that the APB technique is useful for analyzing problems.
