Abstract

The study of Mechatronics, especially in education, requires the analysis, selection and the implementation of actuators to perform the movements of systems or machines. Due the low budget of Universities, generally they have to recourse to stepper motors or used servomotors for systems developing. The problem with this kind of actuators is that most of their operating information is unavailable or hard to find, making the design of controllers difficult and delayed. This article presents the developing of HMI, made in LabView software 2009 to control an industrial servomotor. The electronic system was designed to control the servomotor. Virtual instruments were generated in labview that allow managing the interface. Finally, a set of practices with the use of the control were developed, benefiting the students of Mechatronics career at Technological University of Southern Sonora (Universidad Tecnólogica del Sur de Sonora).
