ALGUNAS CONSIDERACIONES SOBRE LA APLICACIÓN DEL MÉTODO DE CASOS EN EL ÁMBITO DE LA ESTADÍSTICA APLICADA A LA INGENIERÍA

Abstract


Currently requested engineers prepared in the course of his work with high level of professional skills and expertise, is for this reason that the case method is used on statistics applied to engineering, in the career of production technologies, which offers an education based on professional skills; the challenge is the creation of a proper case, opted for a study of performance of graduates in Universidad Tecnólogica del Sur de Sonora, México. The experience reported variations interesting in the averages of the group, as for example, in the first competition (Probability) result was 8.47, it is worth mentioning that not implemented yet this strategy; applying the case, was obtained: 8.28, 9.38 and 9.57 in the following three competencies (Hypothesis tests, simple and multiple linear regression and variance analysis), respectively; This could indicate us quantitatively the improvement in learning by the use of strategies appropriate to the skills teaching.
