Abstract

In order to motivate and boost the engineering teaching, particularly in basic sciences, it is necessary to develop and to apply educational methods or technics which could help students systematically solve problems and exercises from text books. In this paper a logical – schematic method is presented with two aims: 1) to solve problems from books and 2) to represent the developmental structure of a solved exercise. This model is integrated by four parts: 1) definition and delimitation of the problem, 2) place for the simplified formulas, 3) place for the analysis development and 4) place for the problem development. All parts are linked among them by arrows. The model is useful to represent information from no-complex problems and to allow students practice their synthetic - analytical skills.

Index Terms - Education in engineering, synthetic and analytical skills, didactic techniques
