Successful strategies at Camosun College for building capacity for gender balance include encouraging the development of programs that portray positive role models for women. To enhance creativity in engineering and engineering technology students, the Research Initiation Grant in Engineering Education project at Drexel University has established interdisciplinary research collaboration between engineering/engineering technology faculty and cognitive scientists to test methods for integrating creativity pedagogy into undergraduate courses. The impact of construction industry on the economy is immense. Green and sustainability are embedded in many construction-related curriculums, while many more educational institutions seek to incorporate it into their more modern construction curriculum.
