DISPOSITIVO DIDÁCTICO PARA FACILITAR EL APRENDIZAJE DEL DIBUJO TÉCNICO

Abstract

The present development is a didactic resourceaimed at improving the teaching-learning process inTechnical Drawing. It has three folding planes (where thepreviously printed projections are inserted) that constitutethe projection trihedron and a set of accessories that allowthe teacher to prepare his own exercises. By means ofpractical examples, it let them easily visualize how theprojections in the different trihedron planes and itssubsequent folding are carried out. This process is taught indifferent subjects (generally Descriptive Geometry andTechnical Drawing) in the secondary schools and in theuniversity graduate courses of Engineering andArchitecture. The process visualization helps to understandhow the process of changing a 3-D object into its twodimensionalrepresentation takes place. Another way ofusing the folding planes is as a slate on which students orteacher can make their own exercises.Index Terms ⎯ Descriptive geometry, didactic resource,technical drawing, two-dimensional representation.
