EVALUACIÓN DE TÉCNICAS DE TESTING A TRAVÉS DE UN EXPERIMENTO CONTROLADO EJECUTADO EN UN AMBIENTE UNIVERSITARIO

Abstract


This paper presents the definition, planification,operation and analysis of results obtained from a controlledexperiment. Two testing techniques such as: EquivalencePartitioning and Table of Decision where compared in thisexperiment regarding their effectiveness and efficiency.Advanced students of degree programs in computer sciencefrom the Universidad Nacional de San Juan (Argentina)participated of this experiment. Significant evidences aboutboth techniques of functional testing were found. Moreover,characteristics such as easy to learn and usability wasidentified in each techniques. Also, student achieved highlevel of satisfaction for their active participation in suchexperiment of the Empirical Software Engineering.Index Terms ⎯ Software Engineering, Education inSoftware Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering.
