Abstract


In this paper it will be described thedevelopment and conclusions obtained from a studentexchange realized in order to receive orientation in the areaof ultrasound at EESC USP-Brazil and carrying out thework of degree called “Ultrasound device for liquidrecognition” as requirement to obtain Sound Engineer's titlein USB-Colombia. Across the received orientations and theaccess to bibliographical recent sources and moderntechnology, it was possible to implement an ultrasoundsystem by means of the method of transmission (twotransducers) capable of classifying a liquid under studybased on a microcontroller PIC and on virtualinstrumentation. Finally, there will be presented briefdiscussions about the results obtained with the device andthe impact that had the cultural exchange, development andpresentation of this work so much at personal level, as wellas Sound engineering personal level at USB-Colombia.Index Terms ⎯ Development of ultrasound device, studentexchange.
