Abstract

The destination of the residues of health servicesif has become a great problem for the establishments ofhealth services, the new legislation, does not allow morethan these residues are made use in sanitary terrify, withoutadjusted treatment, to prevent damages to the environmentand risk to the health publishes. The generators are theresponsible ones in mounting and developing its proper Planof Management of Residues of Services of Health (PGRSS).Each generator must implant a proper system of treatment,or send to the cities that have this type of implantedtreatment, very expensive process. To take care of to thisnecessity, it was comes developing the treatment of theseresidues, for thermal inactivation, taking care of to thedemand of all region of the city of Umuarama, thusbecoming the cost lowest, and diminishing the ambientdegradation, therefore the residues have the treatment andcorrect destination.Index-Terms ⎯ Residues of Service of Health; Treatment;Environment.
