ATUAÇÃO DO LABORATÓRIO DE EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA DA UFJF NA CAPACITAÇÃO DE MULTIPLICADORES DA CULTURA DE COMBATE AO DESPERDÍCIO DE ENERGIA

Abstract

Nowadays, the engineering teaching has beenextrapolating the extent of the Institutions of Highereducation, taking the students to interact with thecommunity. An example of that practice is the Laboratory ofEnergy Efficiency (LEENER) of the Federal University ofJuiz de Fora (UFJF), where the students of the course ofElectric Engineering undergo several research activities andextension, that qualify them to develop combat works to theelectric power waste in the community's several sections andin own UFJF, paid knowledge and acting as multipliers ofthe combat culture to the waste of energy. Besides, LEENERalso acts in the technicians' continuous education, engineersand teachers The proposal of the work is to show as theactivities are developed in LEENER and the students'participation, besides some cases of success, when theygrow works of spread of the culture of the combat to theelectric power waste.
