Abstract

Collaborative work is a type of task executionthat runs by splitting and generating interdependence amongits constituent subtasks. A robot simulator environment is aninteresting kind of application, known for save costs inequipment and team effort. Among its uses, remote operationis particularly useful in order to command robots remotelywhile handling hazardous materials (E.g. radioactive, explosive, etc). Due to the complexity of certain tasks, morethan one operator may be required. This paper intends todiscuss a simulated robotic environment focusing on thecollaborative work execution. Each operator will be givenits own perspective but, network communication betweenthem is sure to exist. Such environment can be used forcomplex tasks team training or even for collaborativestrategies development. Keywords ⎯ Collaboration, Robotics, Telerobotics,Simulator.
