ENGENHARIA MULTIMÍDIA: GERENCIAMENTO DA QUALIDADE NA PRODUÇÃO EM LARGA ESCALA DE CONTEÚDO DIGITAL PARA O ENSINO PRESENCIAL E A DISTÂNCIA

Abstract

This work leads to planning, managing andimproving the multimedia production for educationalpurposes. Multimedia Engineering involves differenttechnological areas such as Software Engineering andothers which are related to digital media production, suchas audio and video. This research gap is relevant for bothpurposes, traditional and distance learning, due to the needof producing and delivering high quality multimedia files forlearning and teaching at all levels of education. This articleis especially focused on how the experience and previousstudies demonstrate that the more complex the production is,the more organized and structured the planning of the finalproduct quality has to be. From this perspective, this workshows a pioneer initiative for the development of large scalemultimedia production in the context of secondary and preuniversityeducation in Brazil, bearing in mind themanagement of quality and the importance of reaching thefinal educational objectives.Index Terms ⎯ Digital Technology, Management,Multimedia, Quality.
