With deforestation, adaptation of venomousLepidoptera to peri-urban environments was inevitable, which caused the  increase in accidents with these animals. The toxic   activity of different genera o Lepidoptera weretested for hemaglutinanting, hemolytic and coagulantactivities and related to different blood types, which was animportant factor in the development of some symptoms. Thelarvae of the genera Cerodirphia, Lonomia and Podaliawere separated in extracts and fluids. For activities testedwith blood type A + the best results observed for the extractswere hemaglutinanting activity Cerodirphia and Podalia.Activities with blood type O + showed the best results in theextract of the genus Cerodirphia, Podalia and Lonomia. Forthe hemolytic activity the best results were extracts for thegenus Podalia A + with blood after 24 hours of incubation.Noting results in the same extracts with the O + blood, butin smaller intensity.Index Terms - Lepidoptera; Caterpillar; toxin; haemolysis
