Software tool using different methods for analysis and processing EEG signals in Biomedical and Medicine studies

Abstract


Electroencephalography is the recording andevaluation of electrical potentials generated by the brainand obtained through electrodes placed on the scalp surface.The signal monitoring is a basic tool for some applicationsin clinical medicine. Specifically, quantitative analysis of theelectroencephalogram (EEG) to understand brain functionin order to aid in the diagnosis of dysfunctional states indisciplines such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry,Psychology and Pharmacology. "Deustotech EEG DigitalProcessing Toolbox" provides an interactive graphical userinterface (GUI) allowing users to flexibly process variousbrain signals. This software integrates different filteringoptions, including a range of analytical methods used infunctional connectivity.
