INTEGRAÇÃO PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO E GRADUAÇÃO: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

Through the Program REUNI of restructurationand expansion of the federal universities in Brazil, wereinstalled at the Federal University of Paraíba, in the lastthree years, five new graduate engineering courses,breaking a period of three decades when was created onlyone engineering course. Also was proposed a plan for theinvolvement of postgraduate students in activities thatcontribute to the reduction of evasion and retention inundergraduate courses. In this way, the group REUNI-DEPmade actions to achieve the set targets for improvement inthe teaching of Production Engineering course, studying tounderstand the retention and evasion, seeking differentmethods of teaching through use of software and games, anddeveloping two systems to capture information of studentsand graduates engineering.Index Terms ⎯ Graduation, postgraduation, productionengineering course, REUNI, UFPB.
