APLICAÇÃO DE ROBÓTICA E DA AUTOMAÇÃO COMO NOVA TECNOLOGIA DE ENSINO

Abstract

This project is an application of robotics ineducation, being implemented at the Instituto FederalFluminense, IFF, located in the city of Macaé, Rio deJaneiro State. The project involves teachers and students ofAutomation and Control Engineering and Technical Coursein Automation and Control of IFF. The project has thefollowing steps: a study of cutting-edge technologies used inrobotics for educational purposes, study of thesetechnologies in courses offered by IFF; application ofdidactic robots interacting with other automated equipment,demonstration models of educational robotics in publicschools surrounding the region, disseminating experience inlong meetings and scientific congresses in engineering andeducation. Robotics and automation are used in thisdevelopment as a new learning technologies allowinggreater access to scientific knowledge and the awakening ofnew talents in technology.Index Terms ⎯ automation, robotics, teaching.
